Pre-congress Course: The robot and the pelvic floor
Background:
The course covers pelvic floor anatomy, prolapse, and functional diagnostics. It includes discussions on pre-operative imaging techniques, sacral suspension alternatives, and surgical tailoring for improved outcomes.
Participants will learn anatomical insights, diagnostic applications, and surgical advancements. In addition to traditional methods, the course will specifically cover the use of robotics in pelvic floor surgery.
Robotics can enhance precision and control during procedures, leading to better patient outcomes and reduced recovery times. Participants will gain understanding of how robotic systems benefit complex pelvic floor repair surgeries.
The course will include extensive educational video materials and a continuous interaction with the experts.
